Fire Alarms

Mains operated smoke alarms are installed in all rooms of our two-storey buildings with less than six occupants.

These systems have a battery back up in place in the event of power failure.

Full fire alarm systems are installed into our three-storey properties and any building with more than six occupants.

The systems come with a zone panel located beside the main entrance.

All systems are annually certified by a qualified engineer and a visual inspection is also conducted every time a member of our staff visits the property.

Electrical Safety

All APS properties hold a NICEIC certificate which is re-newed every five years.

This certifies that all the wiring within the property conforms to the latest electrical safety standards.

Gas Safety

Most of the APS properties only consist of one gas appliance which is the boiler.

All gas fires and cookers are generally removed at the refurbishment stage of the property.

All gas appliances in our properties are annually serviced and certified. Gas safety certificates are available to view in all properties.


All APS properties are fitted with double glazed windows and have burglar alarms fitted covering the full ground floor.

In the event of any unfortunate incident, a member of the family business will be available to attend.

24/7 Emergency Callout

In the event of an emergency deemed to be potentially harmful to the tenants or the property, we adopt a “speak to the owner” policy.

Our numbers are displayed in all our properties and we have a 24/7 emergency number monitored by a family member.
